We can not currently transfer reviews previously left on TripAdvisor.  Although FlipKey powers the vacation rental section on TripAdvisor, our review systems remain slightly different.  We go out of our way to protect you from receiving negative reviews from people who haven’t stayed at your home. All new reviews are applied against our proprietary authentication filters, which flag comments suspected of illicit content or self promotion.

Verified reviews protect owners from false defamatory comments and provide travelers with confidence when booking a rental.  We encourage you to add guest reviews to your property because it increases traveler confidence and improves where your property ranks. You can invite guests who have left a review on TripAdvisor in the past to re-submit their review on your FlipKey or TripAdvisor (Vacation Rental) listing.

Can I transfer reviews from another listing site?

At this time, we are currently not able to post property reviews collected on other websites and other collection methods onto your FlipKey or TripAdvisor listing for legal reasons.  

We understand that you have worked hard to add reviews, so we are looking into methods to incorporate reviews collected from other websites while maintaining the integrity of our process. We highly encourage you to invite guests who left a review in your guestbook or on another listing site to re-submit their review on FlipKey or TripAdvisor.
