To change your account contact information & inquiry preferences

1. Log into your account at www.flipkey.com/users/login.

2. Click on ‘Account’ on the left side of the page.

3. Update your contact information by using the ‘Edit Inquiry Preferences’ button.

You can update the following under this section:

  • Change your inquiry contact preferences to ‘Email Only’ or ‘Phone and Email.’
  • Update your contact name, phone number, and email address
  • Select which languages are spoken to make it easier for international travelers looking to rent a home.
  • Block inquiries that do not fit a specific criteria (such as minimum night stay, for booked dates, etc)

FlipKey Quick Tip.pngQuick Tip! Your email address will not display online; it will be linked to the ‘Contact Manager’ button on FlipKey and TripAdvisor.  If you choose to be contacted by phone, the phone number will display online.



To change the information displayed on FlipKey and TripAdvisor

1. Log into your account at www.flipkey.com/users/login.

2. Click on ‘Account’ on the left side of the page.

3. Update your contact information by using the ‘Edit Profile’ button.

You can update the following under this section:

  • Display name
  • Personal website link
  • Owner profile description
  • Payment types accepted
  • Renting history

How does the Refer-A-Friend Program work?

1.  Log into your account on www.flipkey.com/users/login and click on the ‘learn more’ button in your dashboard.

2. Invite your friends to join FlipKey using your personal invitation link by email or by sharing this link on your website, blog, or social network profile. Each customer has a unique URL that is linked directly to you.

3.  When your friend clicks through to FlipKey, we track the friend back to your personal invitation link.

4.  When your friend signs up for an annual subscription, FlipKey will send you $100 via PayPal, subject to the Refer-a-Friend Program Terms and Conditions.


Don't have a PayPal Account? 

No problem.  When you earn money through our Refer-a-Friend program, you will receive an email from PayPal letting you know what to do next.  You can then either log in to PayPal (if you already have an account) or sign up for a new account.  Signing up is free and only takes a few minutes.

Who Can Participate in the Program? 

Active FlipKey vacation rental owners or property managers who choose to spread the word about FlipKey through the Program (a "Referrer") are eligible to participate. A vacation rental owner or property manager that is referred by a Referrer through the Program is considered a "Referral." A Referrer earns a reward for each Referral that completes a listing and purchases a FlipKey annual property listing subscription within 6 months of the date the Referral first joins FlipKey (the "Referral Start Date").

How do you Earn Rewards?

  • A Referrer will receive $100 cash via PayPal (a "Reward") for any Referral that purchases a FlipKey annual subscription within 6 months of their Referral Start Date.
  • Rewards are earned on a per referral basis and are not based on the number of subscriptions a Referral purchases.
  • For a Referrer to be eligible for a Reward, a Referral must create their FlipKey subscription through the Referrer's unique personal invitation link.



How to reactivate a listing in an active account

1.  Log into your account at www.flipkey.com/users/login.

2.  Scroll down to display the properties section of your dashboard. You will see two tabs at the top of the property section. One tab will display the property(s) actively advertised and the other tab displays your inactive property listing(s). Click on the ‘Inactive Properties’ tab to view the property(s) that you are not currently promoting on FlipKey and TripAdvisor.

3.  Find the property that you would like to reactivate and click the orange ‘Reactivate Listing’ button.

4.  The property(s) that you have chosen to reactivate will be highlighted in green.

5.  A summary of your updated subscription, including the number of active properties, your subscription price, and your billing date, will display at the bottom of your screen. After reviewing your updated plan, click the ‘Upgrade My Account’ button.

How to reactivate an account

1.  Go to www.flipkey.com/users/login and enter the email address and password you used to log in when you had an active account.

 2.  The dashboard will display an alert across the top informing you that ‘Your Account Is Currently Inactive.’ Click on the orange ‘Reactivate Account’ button.

 3.  Simply click on the property that you would like to reactivate. If you would like to advertise a completely new home you may do so by clicking ‘Add a New Property.’

4.  Reactivating your account requires you to subscribe to an annual subscription plan. The dashboard will automatically display details about reactivation and pricing. To begin advertising on FlipKey and TripAdvisor, simply click the ‘Upgrade My Account’ button.

Transferring your account to a new owner

1.  Log into your old account at http://www.flipkey.com/users/login.

2. Go to ‘Account’ on the upper left hand side of the screen.

3. Update the following information:

A. Password

B. Owner profile

C. Inquiry Contact Information

4.  Edit the billing and credit card information. To do so, click on the ‘Billing’ tab at the top of the page.  Click on the ‘Update Billing Information’ button and enter the new billing details.

5. To switch the log in email address, contact us.
