To advertise a special offer

1.  Log into your account at www.flipkey.com/users/login.

 

2.  Click on ‘Manage Specials’ on the left side of your Dashboard page.

 

 

3.  Click on the ‘Create New Offer’ button.

4.  Select a start and end date for the special offer. Use the calendar to indicate the applicable rental dates to which your offer applies.

 5.  Choose an offer type. Select a discount or incentive and add special rates, perks, and freebies.  Fill in the details of your special promotion.

Quick Tip! Your current nightly rates will display above the discount options to help you present an attractive booking incentive to potential guests.

 

6.   Set the length of your special offer. Select when your special offer will begin appearing on your FlipKey and TripAdvisor listing and determine how long to advertise the deal online.  Then create a title and description. Provide additional details about your special offer.

7.  Click the ‘Add Special’ button. Your new deal will display on FlipKey shortly and will display on TripAdvisor within 48 hours. FlipKey reserves the right to edit or delete special offers if the content is not appropriate without notification. 

Quick Tip! You can create an offer that can be applied to one, a couple, or all of your property listings. Owners/managers with multiple listings will be prompted to apply the offer to specific properties. You can also create a unique offer for each property that you have advertised.

Special offers include promotional discounts, complementary items, or other limited-time incentives aimed at travelers to drive bookings. Special offers usually include something of monetary value or a comparable enticement.

How special offers display on FlipKey and TripAdvisor

1. Special offers display within search results on both FlipKey and TripAdvisor.

2. Special offers display on each unique property page.  From the unique property page, travelers can click to view specific details about your offer. A pop-up box will display and a ‘Contact Owner’ button will also be available.

Your special offer will display at the top of your listing on FlipKey.

 

Your special offer will display at the top of your listing on TripAdvisor.

 

3. TripAdvisor’s ‘Deals’ tab exclusively promotes properties currently advertising a discount.
